The 'New' button on my account has been greyed out on my Safari browser since updating to macOS Monterey. I still have functionality via Chrome. I am posting this here as I found only one result for why the 'New' button might be greyed out, and it was not helpful.
Would appreciate an update when functionality for Safari is brought up to speed. Thanks.

We have few users reporting the same issue with creating new files/folders by clicking New+ which appears to be greyed out when using Safari.
As a troubleshooting step or work around provided, updating the Box Tools extension has resolved the issue for some users. May I please have you check if you have Box Tools installed on your machine?
If yes, can you check to see if you have the most recent version installed under Safari -> Preferences -> Extensions and have them update if there's an update available.
