Need to transfer file ownership - can only see option to make editor

Question

I am leaving my current company and I want to transfer ownership of some files to a collaborator, but when I look to change the collaborator status I do not see an option to switch ownership (Editor is best I can do). Is there anything else I can do to ensure my colleague is an owner and not an Editor? Will he lose access once I leave?

Hi,Your enterprise admin would be the best person to talk to about this. There might be enterprise settings in place to prevent you from doing this. Are you sure you own all your top level folders?
