We have a new collaborator who is using an existing email address (office manager). We want their new name to appear as Collaborator so notifications are correct. Do we have to delete and re-create this role? Or can it be changed in the database?

Welcome to the Box Community!
A collaborator's name cannot be changed on your end and this must be initiated by the Collaborator himself. A user may edit his email under "View Profile" option under his initials and any changes on his name should reflect on the collaborative folder.
