Multiple User Duplicates with Numbers, Keynote and Box Drive

Hello,

My team has been encountering duplicate files with the format Filename (1).ext related to simultaneous edits.

In https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360049984054-Multiple-users-save-capability , community contact France reported that desktop editing is not supported for Excel. 

Do Numbers and Keynote support simultaneous desktop edits? 

Without locking the file, would the "edit on the Web" feature reduce the duplicate rate?
