I have a small database (MS Access 2016) that would be much easier to share from a box folder than on a network drive due to remote access.  It is a split database, where the data is on the back end and the front end is running all the forms.  The issue with Box, a file path to he online storage does not work to connect the back and front ends.  There are only two of us that use it, and currently we do not have access to other cloud storage or other fun sql servers, a single network drive and Box are the two shared resources we have.  Any thoughts.

Hey Marc,

Box and db files don't play nicely. In fact, during migration engagements, we specifically calls these out to not migrate onto the platform - unless it is purely for archiving the db file.

Thanks,

Is Box in the process of making changes that will enable the use of Database files? If so, is there a time line or some literature available outlining this event?

I use split access database on a shared file server. It would be nice if Box could handle a db file
Like Roberts question, is Box looking to make changes to handle db files?

Hello,

Box is not currently working on any enhancements towards handling db files. You are welcome to add this to Pulse or upvote it if the feature is already listed.
