missing shared folder

I was invited to a shared folder via email. When I accept the invite from the email it opens up my box account which is empty and the shared folder is no where to be found.

    Could you verify if the collaboration invite was sent to the email address associated to your Box account? If not, please contact the folder owner and have the owner to send the collaboration invite to the email address linked to your Box account.
