reviewed these files and folders for years, then one day they just disappeared. I have never changed my email or password up to that point. Since then, I have uploaded other files and folders to the same account. It is imparative I get this information back!

You can recover your missing files and folders by going to your trash/bin icon in the Box website. Also, you can manually restore any file or folder in your trash.
To restore specific items in Trash:
The steps below apply whether you’re selecting from search results or from all Trash items.
- Hover to highlight the row of the item you want. The More Options ellipsis (…) displays.
- Click the ellipsis (...). Then:
- To return the item to its original location in Box, click Restore.
- At the prompt, click Okay.
