Missing folder I need help!

My Box files all dissappeared and they are not in Trash, how can I recover them?

Welcome to Box Community, and we’ll here locate your missing folders. 

Note: 

• When items are deleted from a collaboration folder, both the owner and the person who deleted the item can recover the items from the Trash. 
• If you are removed as a collaborator from a file or folder that you've deleted, you no longer see that item in Trash. To see the item in Trash, you must be again added as a collaborator to that item.

 To restore specific items in Trash:

• The steps below apply whether you’re selecting from search results or from all Trash items.
• Hover to highlight the row of the item you want. The More Options ellipsis (…) displays.
• Click the ellipsis (...).  Then: 
• To return the item to its original location in Box, click Restore. 
• At the prompt, click Okay.

In case you can’t find your missing folders in trash, kindly reach out to the folder owner you might have been removed as collaborator.

I cannot find anything in my Trash...

All my folders and files have disappeared. When I opened my Box like I do every morning when I start work, my Box was empty. No folders, no files, nothing. I checked the trash and there was nothing there under “things I deleted” nor “things I own”. I don’t see any weird logins either, but it doesn’t seem like the logins are tracking every time I access the platform so who knows. There’s no collaborators on my account. I’m the owner and originator of all the folders and files. I searched for the individual files and nothing came up. I checked the sync even though I never used the drive. I didn’t get an email notification letting me know they were deleted, though I have it set up to notify me when files I own are deleted.
