Missing Files and Folders

I have been accessing Box via the app on my Mac computer using the finder.

 

Some of them have just disappeared and I can see a red exclaimation mark on some of the folders too. I have logged in via the web and I also can’t see them there either. I haven’t removed them and I want to find out how to find them again. Can you help please?

Several files on our account have disappeared, and we have not received any notifications about deletions, sync errors, or other activity that would explain their removal.

We have also reviewed activity and previous support posts but haven’t been able to find guidance that addresses this specific situation. Are there any sync or system issues that could have caused this and we’d like to recover these files. We unfortunately do not know everything that is missing - but have noticed a few cases that make us worry about what else could be missing.

We would really appreciate your assistance in investigating what may have happened and advising on next steps.
