Missing Files

To find your missing files, please checkout box.com>trash/bin icon. 

Notes:

• When items are deleted from a collaboration folder, both the owner and the person who deleted the item can recover the items from the Trash.
• If you are removed as a collaborator from a file or folder that you've deleted, you no longer see that item in Trash. To see the item in Trash, you must be again added as a collaborator to that item.

As soon as you find the missing item, you can restore it this way, 

The steps below apply whether you’re selecting from search results or from all Trash items.

1. Hover to highlight the row of the item you want. The More Options ellipsis (…) displays.
2. Click the ellipsis (...).  Then:
   • To return the item to its original location in Box, click Restore
3. At the prompt, click Okay.

Hi Rona:

Thank you for reaching out. I have no collaborators on this account (never had any other than myself). 

I have checked in Trash and there is nothing there. Something has gone very wrong with my files and I really need your help to restore them from 3-4 months ago. There is a large stash of files missing.

Also, if there is a way to get a snapshot of my files from ~3 months ago, I'd even pay for it. These were some important files that I need back.
