To look for your missing files, you can start your search through your trash. 

To search through your Trash folder:

1. Navigate to your Trash folder.


2. Toward the top, click the Search Files and Folders
   


3. In the box that displays, enter any search parameters.


4. Check Only search inside of “Trash.”


5. Press Enter.

Once you find your missing files, you can recover it with the following instructions. 

To restore specific items in Trash:

The steps below apply whether you’re selecting from search results or from all Trash items.

1. Hover to highlight the row of the item you want. The More Options ellipsis (…) displays.


2. Click the ellipsis (...).  Then: 

• To return the item to its original location in Box, click Restore.

3. At the prompt, click Okay.
