Howdy. My account is missing about 38GB of space. I have a 100GB storage limit, and I'm only taking up less than 17GB of space, but Box is saying I'm using 55GB of space. I emptied the trash, so that doesn't account for it.
(I'm not complaining too loudly: I got 50GB of free space for life when I bought my HP TouchPad, and Box upgraded that to 100GB at some point - nice!)

The issue you encounter seems related to what is described in this article:
I went ahead and ran a script that will recount all of the files and how much storage is being used in your account.
You should now see the correct storage size available in your Box.
