Metadata: Not showing in Web UI, but attached when checking with API

Good Afternoon,

 

I have a file that I applied metadata on. When I query the file for metadata using the REST call I get metadata back, However when in the Web UI, selecting to view Metadata it says nothing is applied. 

 

Any ideas?

is still not showing?

 

There's a 5 minutes delay between setting up metadata and being able to search for it, I do not know if that can be affecting you somehow.

Hi,

 

It has been more than an hour on the folder and files. The metadata template also doesn't show up in the search dropdown.

Is this still happening to you regarding the Metadata now appearing in the Web UI?

Yes, Thank you.

 

The support guys resolved the issues. Whilst its possible with a Business Account to set metadata using the API, it's not possible to view it in the Web UI. To do that you will require a Business Plus account.

 

When the account type was changed, it all started to work.

this is still broken. If I do a GET on metadata, I see the metadata for a given file. however, in the UI I don't see it. I'm on business plus plan. it was working before, but now it's not.
