One thing I find frustrating about Box (compared to Dropbox) is that it is optimized for interface via the web, rather than the desktop client. For example, Box Drive for Windows apparently cannot be used to manage collaborators, despite what is written on the menus. Specifically, if you right-click on a folder, click "Share," and then "Email shared link" or "copy shared link," what the recipients receive gives them view access only. You then have to go to box.com and manually add the collaborators again, one at at a time, to give them edit access (they don't show up as collaborators simply because you emailed them the shared link). This makes the sharing features from within Box Drive essentially useless, at least for people who normally interpret "sharing" as two-way interaction. Is there any way to change this default?
