Hello,

I’m in the process of removing users from my organization who no longer require a Box account or a paid license. As far as I understand, the only way to free up a license is to delete or deactivate the user from our Box tenant.

However, this raises a concern: once a user is removed from the organization, they are no longer able to accept third-party Box collaboration invitations.

Is there a recommended approach that would allow us to free up the license while still enabling the user to access external Box shares?

Thank you,
