We are trying to add an external managed user to our account, and we receive the error message "cannot add deactivated user." How can we resolve this?

It means that you're inviting a Box user who have already deactivated their account. To address this, please advise the deactivated user to contact Box Product Support  or  setup a brand new account for free using their alternate email address.
