M1 MBP Big Sur - Box drive removing files

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with your Files and Box Drive. At the moment, Box Drive is not supported on Apple devices running on the M1 chipset. This has been updated to our Known Product Issues article. 

Our Engineering team is actively working to add support for the M1 chip on Box Drive. A Beta is planned in early 2021 for our Enterprise customers. In the meantime, you can access your Box content on Apple Silicon devices via the Box web application by logging into  (https://app.box.com).

Thank you for commenting on my comment.  Of course it should have been clear to email all account holders to NOT update their system or in my case on a new computer to not sync the accounts.
