I can see a folder on my box drive (on my pc) but it is not in Box on the web - i search for it, and the folder shows up in search but when I click on it, i go back to the root folder.

I have seen this behavior happened before when someone has moved a folder and the move has not completed yet so changes has not yet reflected on Box/ Box drive.
If you would like to further investigate on this issue, I highly recommend submitting a ticket to our Support team here as this may require specific account information to resolve.
