I am looking for an app that would allow me to natively view .vtt files in the browser when accessed through Box. Has any found an app that can add this functionality to Box.com for users to preview this file in the browser without having to download it?

It looks like you can't preview ".vtt " files in Box as it's not on our list of File Types supported in Box Content Preview.
If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.
