My finder window for Box is LOCKED and WRITE PROTECTED!
So I can not copy or move anything at all to Box.
How do I unlock the Mac OS X High Sierra window on my desktop so that I can use Box from my desktop?

Box support the two latest major versions os macOS so it looks like you are using an unsupported OS version to run Box Drive. You may want to upgrade this version of your macOS and see if that helps fix the issue with Box Drive.
