I'd like to backup all files on Box to an external hard drive so that I have a copy of all my data when Box crashes or is inevitably hacked. Is there a way to do this? I can just select files and folders via the desktop app and copy them to the hard drive, but I'd prefer an automated process with incremental backups.

Unfortunately, we do not have an automated process if you would like to back up your files to an external HD.
You can manually download your contents from the webapp, and there are some feature such as using Box with FTP which is recommended for occasional bulk downloading of files from your account.

I think integrating a way to create and download a Zip of all files on Box is a vital function that is currently missing. I would love to create monthly backups so that I have the ability to roll back if necessary. Is this functionality still missing?
