I’m attempting to connect my Box account to my Jupyter Lab. However, when prompted to enter my login credentials, the system informs me that the client ID is not found. I believe the issue lies in my university login, which I am using to access Box. Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, are there any workarounds available?

Hi @kniyaD

Welcome to Box Community, and we’re glad to help!

To establish connection and login it’s best if you could create a support case. Upon review, your enterprise has a designated team that can work directly with Box Support.

In this case, please get in touch to your internal helpdesk team to submit a support case in your behalf.

Thanks for posting, and we look forward in hearing from you.

Yeah, I’ve run into something similar before. The “client ID not found” message usually means the Box app Jupyter is trying to use isn’t approved by your university. Since you're logging in through your school’s SSO, Box is probably blocking MyMilestoneCard the connection.

Easiest workaround? Use Box Drive to sync your Box files to your computer and then just access them in Jupyter like regular files. Or just download/upload files manually if it's a one-off.
