Dear Support,

Our users often create an indesign file and place several pictures throughout the file and save this file. Then another user will open the file, but all the picture links contain the file path that includes the first users Mac i.e. Macintosh HD/Users/User/Box/File

Is there a way to have a direct path to the box cloud rather than the users file system.

We are on the business plus plan, is this feature included in this plan?

Regards,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

This would be something our Product Support can look into so I went ahead and submitted a ticket on your behalf.

Kindly check your email for details and updates.

Best regards,

Hi 362976492687 - is a direct path to the box cloud a widely available option for Box users? I am unsure of my team's plan level, but am encountering the same issue as Paul's team did above.

Hi France, any updates please?

We have this same issue on a PC, which slows down Marketing productivity on a daily basis.

In our case, all the image links contain the Box Drive filepath that includes the userID (i.e. C:\Users\UserID\Box\Folders\File), which means the new user has to relink all those placed images to the Box online filepath. Any updates or solutions?
