I would like to link a personal email that was used as an account that was recently cancelled. When I try to do this, I get: "There was an error while trying to add [email address] to your account."
Do I need to wait a period of time to be able to do this?

Note that cancellation or deletion of your Box account will not happen immediately, but will take a short amount of time.
To add an email to your Box account, only use an email address that's not yet registered with Box.
