Keeping folders and files stationary

Question

I am new to the box and have noticed that once someone updates a file or folder it moves to the top of the page. Is there a way to make files and folders stationary so you can keep the files and folders in the order you need them? If so can this be done by individual folders or would it have to be done to all folders and files?

Hi Gregory,Welcome to the Box Community!There are different sorting option you can choose from to arrange your files and folder in the order you desire however it appears Box does not have the specific feature you are asking about that allows you to save your sorting preferences.As a workaround, you can navigate to "All Files" or where you start when you initially login, and then set the sort order there, we've noticed that it will stick to that when you navigate to other pages.
