JPG files preview on Mac not working

Hi,

I opened a thread 20 days ago but received no solution to my problem so I am trying again.

I installed fresh box drive and my thumbnails are not visible on mac. I did follow the article:

my folder containing images is available offline and still it does not work. The entire box is useless without this feature as you have to press each photo...and wait for it to show. Uninstalling and restarting box drive did not help as suggested by one of customer service reps.

Your help will be appreciated.

    Welcome to the Box Community! I'm happy to help.

    I understand that you are in need of the feature to quickly view pictures or thumbnails of files in your Box Drive folder in MacOS. Unfortunately, Thumbnails Support in Box Drive is currently only available for Windows computers at the moment and you have to open the file first so it will be downloaded and able to preview the file when using MacOS. 
     
    However, I agree that his could be a helpful feature for some use cases. In this case, I would highly suggest filing a feature request directly to the product team through Box Pulse. The Box Product team periodically reviews all suggestions. Once a suggestion receives enough support, the Product team will provide a status and some commentary regarding the update.
