Issues with GDocs Reconnecting every 5 seconds

Our staff are having an issue with Google Docs integration in Box. Every 5 seconds or so the Google document editing view is freezing (even when not actively making edits to the doc but just having open) and I get a 'Reconnecting' error message that only disappears when I refresh the page. The issue is the same between wifi networks, my hotspot, and in a few different browsers. I have logged in and out of Box, and cleared history, cookies and cache and still getting the same issue. I also noticed I cannot see the Box folder symbol at the top of the document - only the Google cloud icon. My system is Microsoft with Chrome browser but not sure of other staff.
