Hello Box Support Team,


I’m experiencing an issue where users can open a shared folder link and view its contents, but when they try to open any individual files, they’re prompted to log in. I’ve double-checked the sharing settings multiple times and confirmed that they are set to allow open access without requiring a login.


Could you please advise if there’s an additional setting I might need to adjust, or if there have been any recent changes that could be causing this issue?

Same issue. If the resolution could be shared widely once it is available, it would be much appreciated. 


This has been solved by Box engineering.  I have confirmed that users can preview files accessed via public Shared Links now.
