I seem to be having an issue opening box in a non-persistent setup. when opening box it says there is an issue and box closes. It then ask if you would like to send logs.

Welcome to Box Community, and we are glad to assist regarding your Box access on Virtual Desktop.
For non-persistent Windows VDI, the VDI administrator must ensure:
- Drive Registry keys are persistent, and
- the Drive/Box entries in the user's Windows Credential Manager store are persistent.
