I have used Box daily to syn my files between my laptops and mobile devices for years.  I may checked on box.com occasionally, about once a year.  Today one of my folders just got deleted before my eyes; I was not deleting that folder.  To recover that folder, I then logged in on box.com from my lop-top.  The website is frozen on "https://app.box.com/onboarding/setupflow".  I could not see my files or sign out.  I logged in from Safari, I could see my file in the box.com website, but not the trash folder.  Is trash folder still displaced in box.com?

Hi Yeqing,

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

Did you click the Trash icon in the left-hand sidebar to open the Trash page? It should look something like this:

You might also want to take a look at this article on how to manage your Box Trash on how to filter the items you own that was deleted by others: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196093-Managing-Trash

Thank you France!  With my laptop, the box.com worked with my account.  I saw exact left panel as yours.  So I could recover my folder.  However, with my two mobile devices, box.com still no trash button and only shows up in my account as:

Hi Yeqing,

Box Trash can only be accessed from the Box WebApp and not on mobile devices. This means you can only access Trash using a computer and open a web browser ( ex. Chrome, Safari or Firefox) then go to to Box.com and login with your Box credentials.

Let me know how it goes and if you are still not seeing the Trash icon following the above so we can further investigate.

Hi France,

You are absolutely right, the trash folder is only available from box.com, not App in either PC or Mobile devices.  However, it seems to me, the trash folder is not even on "box.com" from Safari.  Here is the photo from "box.com" not from App, no trash folder.
