Is there a way to request for a password reset by authenticating via 2FA / OTP Code when one no longer has access to the email?

I have a similar problem as described in this post with two of my accounts and wrote a comment to the post, but today I noticed the "COMPLETED" sign on the post, which made me wonder if any one even looks at comments to completed posts? 

That is why I am writing again in this new post.

Hopefully someone can help me :)
