I can’t find a place on the web site to check status, but box.com is awfully flaky right now,  3 pm Eastern on 6-12-25.  Can’t open, can’t save, can’t download.

Files are not saving from Box local drive to Box.com - erroring out on save or upload.

As of today Box downloads or directly open filex on my box account isn’t working at all. Are you with issues on your site? Tried from App Box on phone, app box on tablet, app site on firefox, app site on chrome. Not single one can download anything. Also, the space not liberating plague is back. I delete files yet space don’t go down.

We are experiencing ongoing issues with the regular use of the Box platform. Specifically:

  • We are unable to upload any files, regardless of size or type.

  • We are also unable to preview or open files directly on the platform.

  • Additionally, downloads are failing — clicking to download results in no action or an error.

These problems are affecting multiple users on our team and are significantly disrupting our workflow.

Please let us know if this is part of a known issue or if there is a specific fix we should apply on our end. We would appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this matter.

I have been using Box for several months now with no issues.  Today, I am unable to upload my excel files.  It starts to upload then just hangs up.  The files I am uploading are updated files to those that are already there.  I have tried clearing my cache, using a different browser - nothing seems to work.  I have tried uploading other files without updates that are already on Box, but they won’t upload either.  I am well below the max file size limit.  How can I get my updated files to upload?


 
My photos won't upload, I can't save or download them! I saved important photos from my travels and now I can't access them. Please help me!

Our cloud service provider has mostly recovered and we are working to continually bring services back and are in communication with our provider around full recovery of the services impacted.

 

Hope that it restores the services back in your end fully. 


We are clinical health care practice and we cannot view, upload, or download any of our practice documents. This is impacting our ability to provide care. Do we know when this will come back online? We’ve been a committed box user for over 3 years and we love it. This is the very first time this have ever happened. The update above doesn’t speak to when and I’d love to be able to advise our community about this.
