Invite Viewer

I invited a new person to view about six months ago.  That person did not accept the request and has been sitting on the invited list as pending for some time.  I just noticed that the person has dropped on the list entirely, so there doesn't seem to be any record of the person ever being invited, which is wrong, and it is important to capture the fact that someone was invited and did not accept.  Is there some way to can go back to establish that an invitation was sent but not accepted?
