I am having the exact same problem as occured on this post:

Like the author of that post, I have sent an invitation mail to collaborators. However, the mail is not reached them. (Even not in junk) It seems they authorized the invitation but just the mail isn't delivered.


When I create and copy a link then email it myself, however, the collaborators have no problem accessing the files. This has happened with multiple people using different email providers.

If you have successfully sent users your collaboration invite and your invitee have reported he/she did not receive your invite. Please have them try these: 


  • Have the user to log in to box.com and check for his/her notification icon in All Files if he/she was notified by your invitation. 

  • You can have them to follow these troubleshooting steps regarding their email notifications. 

  • Lastly, you may re-send your invite.

This is not the issue. The people to whom I am sending invitations are not box.com users. Perhaps they will become users, but ordinarily, they have not (at least in the past) needed to create a box.com account.
