Please run the script to reduce my storage.  

And please fix whatever this bug is so that we don't have to keep requesting the script to be run!

    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    I have run a script that will recount all of the files and how much storage is being used in your account. Sometimes Box caches previous file counts and storage amounts causing a data inconsistency. This is a known issue and is a long term project for our engineering team to tackle.

    Hi there,

    I've the same problem. My storage is only 20GB and the box says I've 36GB occupied! Please run the script.
