I am looking to add a Box link to the company website for clients and have a few questions:
1. Will the documents be separated by who uploaded them in any way?
2. Do clients have the ability to designate what they are uploading?
3. Is it possible for the name, email, and a note to be attached to the file so that we have context for the file(s)?
4. Will we be notified whenever someone uploads a file?

Metadata: Box allows you to use metadata templates to attach custom fields like name, email, and notes to a file. You can create a metadata template and associate it with uploaded files, so each file has the associated context. If you integrate Box with a custom upload form (either on your website or via an app), you can capture name, email, and notes as part of the upload process and store this information in metadata, or in a separate system (e.g., a CRM).
