Images in Box Notes

Last week I was able to copy/paste images into Box notes. Now I am getting the error message “The image failed to upload. Please try again later.” Has anyone else seen this issue and have a resolution to this?

The only way I can get the image into Notes, is by uploading the image into Box then linking that image into the Box Note, which is way too much effort compared to the copy/paste process.

      We have a few questions in order to gather additional details regarding this error, it would be helpful if you can answer them. 

      • If you choose to upload the image to Box Notes, would you get the same error message? 
      • Are you copying a single image or multiple images? 
      • What is the file size of the image you’re copying? 
      • What is the file extension of the affected Box Note item?
      • What if you select documents to copy instead of images, would it trigger the same error? 
      • Where is the source of the file, are you the owner? If collaborator please indicate your permission. 
      • Is copy & paste a largely used file activity on Box Notes, especially for images? 
      • Could you attach a screenshot of the error in your next reply? 

       

      In this case, please try these preliminary troubleshooting steps that might fix your error:

      1. Try it in different browsers, network and machine. 
      2. Use incognito or private window 
      3. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies 
      4. Update your browser
      5. Restart your machine
