Is there a way to identify the document's language without previewing or downloading it? We'd like to know if we can add it as a metadata element.

Hi 16543048100627 this is an internal Box use case, and also super popular in Life Sciences and Product Manufacturing where a large volume of content is translated. Adding a metadata template where the content author or editor can add the document language as a searchable attribute can really help end users. Depending on your content authoring process, you can also use Box Relay to automate changes to metadata values or cascade the metadata values, such as setting the language value by folder or workspace.
I've seen other enterprises connect files in Box to their translation engines of choice and automate all kinds of interesting metadata attributes related to language and machine + human translation processes. Hope this helps!
