I signed in to Google, but the person who invited me to collaborate shows it as pending. I can't see the shared folder, and I don't know if the signup hasn't been completed or there's another reason.

Looks like you've logged in to your Box account that was linked to another email address. Please make sure that the invite was sent to an email linked to your Box account.
Could you reach out to the folder owner and request for another invite?
