By mistake I somehow placed a personal folder in Box.com with very personal information such as tax returns.   I just realized this and deleted the folder. 

Is there a way to know if anyone viewed it or downloaded that folder? 

Thousands of people have access to it. I have no idea when this folder was copied to Box.com and I am really worried that many people could have my personal information now.   Can someone please call me at <Personal Information redacted>?

Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist! 

You can run a User Activity Report in order to track your file(s) and folder(s) activities. 

To run the report: 

  • Login to box.com and go to Admin Console> Reports> Create report. 
  • Set the date range and in Action Types, select File Management and filter accordingly. 
  • Click run to create a csv file for this report.

This does not work. There is no date range button and I can not figure out how to select the folder in question.
