I need access to an expired link

For added security, file owners can set a date after which Box automatically disables the Shared link.

If a link you previous have access to has expired, the only way to access it again is to contact the link owner so that you will be given access to the link again.

The owner of the link made it with an email that she no longer has access to. Is the link lost forever now?
