I cannot download files I recieve from emails

I have been having issues with not being able to download files and blueprints that I receive via email link. My coworker also had the same issue and customer support had to reset his account in order to reset his password to make the two factor authenticator app work. When I contact box net support I was told to come here and hopefully someone can help me?…………

Welcome to Box Community and we’re glad to assist! 

Does the email link you received asks you to login to download the shared file? If so, are you having trouble logging in due to your Multi-Factor Authentication?

We wait for your reply! 


Yes, I do believe it is a multifactor authentication issue. I am able to log in just fine but cannot go any further than that
