i am unable to add an additional email so i can change it to my primary.

please allow me to change the email or I will have to cancel the service.

Also, how do I get the signed contracts to auto forward to my email?

Welcome to Box Community, and we’ll help you update your primary email address! 

Upon review, the email address you’re trying add is already registered to Box and can no longer be added as an alias to your Business account. 

 

In this case, you can either 1) select an alternate email address not associated with Box. 2) Release your email’s association to Box by changing the email address and eventually remove it from the account. 

 

Here are the steps to add and remove the email address to your Box account: 

  1. Log in to Box.com and navigate to your Account Settings> Login and Email Addresses. 
  2. Click Link Personal Email and enter a valid email address.
  3. Click Save.

An email verification will be sent to the address you entered. Click the verification link in the email to confirm and add the alternate email to you account.

 

To make a secondary email address your primary email address:

  1. Click Make Primary next to the email address you want as your primary email address.

To remove an email address:

  1. Click Remove next to the email address you want to remove.
  2. In the confirmation dialog box, click Okay.

Hey Rona,

Thanks for the update. I didn’t realize I had an old account till you pointed it out...much obliged!! I must have been sent docs via your service in the past and made an account. I just deleted the old account (with the email I need to add to this account) as there was no paid services attached. I am going to give the servers some time to update but it still wont let me add the email to my account.
