How to view / remove collaborators at all levels

Welcome to the Box Community! 

If you are an editor, owner, or co-owner in a folder, you can remove collaborators from the folder.

To remove a collaborator from a folder:

• Open the appropriate folder.
• You will see a list of collaborators in the right-hand sidebar.
• Click a collaborator's name to to view all the collaborators in this folder.
• Find the collaborator whose access level you would like to modify. You can search by name using the Filter Collaborators search box in the upper right.
• Under the Permissions column, click the user's access level to modify it. Select Remove. If the option is greyed out, you may not have the necessary permissions to remove that collaborator.

To remove a collaborator from a single file:

• Locate the appropriate file
• Click the Collaboration Icon () to the right of the file name.
• Alternatively, you can open More Options > More Actions and select Manage Collaborators.
• Find the collaborator whose access level you would like to modify. You can search by name using the Filter Collaborators search box in the upper right.
• Under the Permissions column, click the user's access level to modify it. Select Remove. If the option is greyed out, you may not have the necessary permissions to remove that collaborator.

Sorry for the confusion. This is not what I was asking actually.

so say i have so many sub-folders in one main folder, the problem is user A has access to say 2 out of the 5 sub-folders, i can't see that user at the "main folder" level. Then I won't be able to know user A is still peeking on my stuff on box

I am trying to understand what access is granted to a user throughout the entire waterfall. is there a way to look up a collaborator and see everything they can access?

Yes! Same question for me! Too many rabbit holes to go down. There must be a way to simply remove access to an email address from a central location, no?
