I want to know how to stop the notification from “BOXEDITFINDEREXTENSION.APP” by mac . It's maddening.

    Same here, I get the notification every time I disconnect from my eGPU. I have turned the notification off, but it comes back every day.

    I found this very helpful advice at the apple support site and it worked- good luck!

    "I have managed to stop it happening by going to System Preferences/Extensions/Added Extensions or FinderExtensions/Untick the Box Edit Finder Extension."

    Worked for me - I'm not exactly sure what functionality the Box Edit finder extension added - probably nothing I have ever used. If I uninstall Box Tools, this option disappears from the Extensions menu.  However, I can't then open docs from Box on the web in the native application.  Disabling the extension does not seem to cause this problem.

    The Box finder extension on the other hand includes the Share URL shortcut which is very useful.
