How to remove a public key?

Hi everyone! Recently I have connected my Box account (let's call it "account 1") with my app made on Bubble using OAuth 2.0 with JWT. I've created a new application on Box website and added a public key which I had copied from my Bubble app. Then I realised that I want to connect the Bubble app to another Box account (let's call it "account 2") and deleted the app from account 1. When I tried to enter a public key of my Bubble app to account 2 Box showed an alert "Public key already in use. Please add a unique key" (check the photo).

Does anyone know how to totally remove a public key from my Box account 1 so that I can add it to Box account 2?

    Hi  as you mentioned app is already deleted, you probably need to get the app restored by a support ticket. In any case why cant you generate a new private/public key combination and use the same for the new app?

    Yes, I've alredy opened a ticket and now waiting for response. I've decided to make a post in the forum just to find out if there is an easy solution for my problem.

     

    And talking about generating a new private/public key combination - unfortunately, the only way to connect an app made on Bubble to Box is to add a public key that was gererated by Bubble (it's described in the official instruction). This key is generated only once for every Bubble app and can't be regenerated (Bubble support told me so).

    Indeed. Support is the only way to go. I also would push Bubble as they should be able to change the JSON key, as changing the key over time is part of a sensible security operation.

    Hey guys, 

     

    I'm quite new to box.com and I mainly bought the product to integrate with bubble. I tried to integrate via plugin with bubble using my public key but realised I did something wrong so decided to delete the app. When trying to integrate again with a brand new app, it doesn't allow to use the same public key because somehow it is still associated with my old app which is deleted and bubble doesn't allow to create a new public key. I read this post and decided to reach the support team to ask them to restore the app as suggested. However, It's been almost a month and they tell me they have restored the app but I cannot see it in my Dev console.They insist it's been restored but it does not show in "MyApps". So, since I am not able to see it in my dev console, they told me they went ahead and removed the public key tied to the old application. Nonetheless, I once again tried creating a new app and used the public but it showed an alert "Public key already in use. Please add a unique key".

    If anyone can give me a hand, or suggest a work around I will appreciate it.
