Hello!


In my box folder (C/user/box), there are some subfolders that I don't want to be synced (I don't want to move them away from box because I don't want to spread my files around).


I don't want these subfolders to be available online, and I don't want these subfolders to consume my available data storage.


Please note that I am not talking about having file in box.com but not on my PC (I want the exact opposite).


Dropbox has this kind of option (https://help.dropbox.com/us-us/sync/ignored-files, see screenshot below) but I can't find a similar option for box.

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!


Although there are some file types that Box Drive ignores, we don't currently offer the feature you asked \that allows user to unsync items in Box Drive.


If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.
