How to control where the search window of Box Drive for Mac appears?

I am a Mac used, and regularly search my Box folders via the search function in the Box Drive application. I use a keyboard shortcut to summon the search bar, but this appears to have a mind of its own - it often defaults to opening in a different space from the one on which I’m working, and is not easily movable between spaces (or monitors). Any suggestions on how to default opening the search bar in the current working space or monitor would be incredibly helpful.

    I also would like some help with the Box Drive Search window on a Mac.  When I try to resize the window (to make it wider) the whole window moves down but does not resize.  It is as if the window frame controls have been hot-wired to the wrong methods. The search itself is really good, but controlling the output is miserable.  This has been a bug in the software for a LONG time.
