how do i move my own file into a shared file?

i need to upload a video for my class through box and i don't see an option to upload it into the folder my professor made. i saved the link but that only made it a bookmark and it doesn't let me move my video into there. i really need this to get done since it has already been more than 2 hours stressing about this and i have other stuff to do for school, please help

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    If you are accessing the folder your professor made from a "Shared link", I'm afraid you won't be able to upload anything in there.

    Using Shared link allow others 'read-only' access so for you to be able to upload, you have to be invited by the owner of the folder as a "Collaborator" in this folder.
