I requested signatures on a document but can only see the log file with signatures in my account.  How do I retrieve the original document with completed signatures.  The help files are no help to find a solution to this.  Thanks

👋 Hi @charden, welcome to the Box Community! I’d be glad to assist.

When a signature request is completed in Box Sign, all parties involved automatically receive an email containing direct links to download both the final signed PDF document and the signing log.

If you are looking to retrieve the completed document directly from your Box account, you can access it through the following methods:

  1. Via the Box Sign home page:

    • Navigate to the Sign tab in the left-hand menu of your Box account.
    • Go to the Sent Requests or Inbox tab.
    • Hover over the title of the completed document request, click the ellipsis button (), and select View Details or click the document’s title to view and download the completed files.

  2. Via the designated Save folder:

    • By default, Box Sign saves completed requests and signing logs in the My Sign Requests folder in your root directory (unless a custom save location was specified during the request setup).
    • If you only see the signing log in that folder, ensure you check the same folder for a separate PDF file which is the completed signed document. Both the signed document and the signing log are saved back to this designated folder as separate PDF files upon completion.

  3. Via email notification:

    • Check your email inbox for the completed notification from Box Sign. You can download the final signed document directly using the secure link provided in that email (note that these email links may only be active for a limited time).

Thanks, and please let us know if you have any other concerns.
